Year 10 Blogging because i’m cool

This class is probably my favourite but i need to up my focus and get the work i haven’t started finished. this class could put me up higher and get credits for a better degree in arts if i choose to use art as a major in university or doing work.

Shake it up with Shakespeare

This class is on the same time as visual arts meaning I have it only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Here is my reflection for the skit i did today.

My logo design

As working with my team this is how i participated, after sketching out our main idea, changing design elements and other small details, we started outlining the parts of the drawing we drew or gave the idea to. For me i was doing the rose and small banner at the bottom, another day passed and we finished a little more lining and after the sharpie dried we were onto the painting. Pink, yellow, green, white, black and grey were few of the many shades and variety of colour we used. We finished with our bandannas and had created the finished product.

How i participated:

I created the Painted and lined rose, which had the main idea for the small hidden 'A' in the middle.
The small banner at the bottom 'Fabulous' .
and helped the main logo inspiration as well as half of the paining in general.

Hurdles and obstacles that tripped us up:

During the paining one of the leaves had been accidentally painted black and that had to be fixed, as well as trying our best to include Ben O'Hara because he was a little bit fussy when it came to what he wanted to do, we also had trouble paining the bandannas when we were trying our best to fit the brushes in the tiny nooks and cranny's of our small roses and leaves.

What could we have fixed to learn to do next time:

Contribute everyone a bit more even more to what we are doing with our team members at the moment, we need to contribute everyone or else we are not helping everyone in the team. If we are to help our teams in the mere future then everyone should be treated equally and participating at the same time and/or waiting for each other to finish something and instead of slacking maybe the other person/people can finish another task.

P.M.I

Positive:
Our team was well working together other than a few distractions and ended up with a great looking end finished banner.

Minus: We had a bit of trouble while painting like when we messed up a small leaf by painting it black and we had to change it back to green as well as trying to help Ben participate Overall we worked really well.

Interesting:
i found it interesting that we worked well, we did not win much but we all tried and winning doesn't matter (unless your a real sporty person.)

Conclusion

In conclusion i think my group worked really well and that i would love to work with my group again in the future my group was a good team and we got all our tasks and assignments done right on time.

WW2 research draft

Event: World war 2

I found out that world war two happened mostly across Europe but many skirmishes happened around the Pacific and Asia.

In the time Mussolini wanted to take over lots of countries but Hitler bet him to it. It included almost every country except Australia and New Zealand. Hirohito the Japanese leader, was being attacked by the Chinese while Hitler was gaining supplies and troops but the Germans started running low on oil near the end of the war. So the Germans decided to raid some other countries like Britain for their oil. It was also around the time Hiroshima bomb.

40,000,000 - 50,000,000 people died and or injured, more likely the people with no protection or weapons including the sick, and the countries with no defence. It included The German, Chinese, Italian, Britain, Japanese.

It happened in 1933, Germany had to give up land, as well as being banned from having armed forces. The Germans became desperate for a better country and decided to elect Adolf Hitler as their leader, That was just before Neville Chamberlain the British leader declared war on Germany September 3rd 1939.

Something ive been learning about recently is this world war 2 draft about what i have been doing in class and showing my progress.Within this class we have learnt about many different disasters in different time periods like titanic black death, plague, influenza pandemic and lots of others like the Hirohito and Nagasaki bomb. My favorite part of the process was the how many disasters have happened over the years, Next time i will update you is probably later.
